About the IAAI and membership

The Indiana Aquaculture Association is a group of individuals who share the common goal of nurturing aquaculture in the state of Indiana. Working with various stakeholder groups ranging from state agencies to farmers, educators and entrepreneurs, the IAAI works to bring about new research, marketing and financing programs designed to assist the expansion of aquaculture in Indiana. The IAAI is a member of the National Aquaculture Association and works closely with the Indiana Department of Agriculture, Board of Animal Health, Department of Natural Resources and the Purdue University Cooperative Extension Service to supports the aquaculture industry.

The IAAI is a membership association supported by membership dues. We produce a newsletter, maintain our website and hold conferences throughout the year to further our mission of enabling aquaculture growers. Our membership continues to grow each year and helps to give our association a strong voice for our industry and to promote aquaculture in Indiana. Because of the support of you, our members, we are able to bring workshops, conferences, speakers, and information to you. If you are not a member and have a farm or are interested in aquaculture, we urge to join now and be a part of the Indiana aquaculture industry.
